Our client is an award-winning public relations agency, supporting businesses from the travel and hospitality industries among others. They now have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join the agency to take responsibility for the management and growth of the Hospitality & Travel Brand division
About the role
This role would suit a highly ambitious individual, looking to accelerate their professional development at the next level. Reporting to the Head of Hospitality & Travel, the Team Leader will lead on the day-to-day running of the agency's Brand team, as well as looking at opportunities to grow the business.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Grow the client portfolio alongside the agency's New Business team;
- Grow team staff numbers alongside the Recruitment team, including attending interviews and selecting candidates;
- Ensuring the smooth running of the division, including developing strong client relationships;
- Meeting the necessary financial targets set.
The ideal person
The ideal candidate will have previous agency experience at Senior Account Manager level, or higher. They will also have experience running PR-led communications campaigns for travel and hospitality businesses, with knowledge of working with both trade and consumer media. They will be ambitious to help the agency in growing their skills, team and clients.
The person will be sociable and fun, with a passion for hospitality and travel. They will have good time management and organisational skills, as well as being a strong writer and communicator. Confidence in managing client relationships and budgets is also a real advantage.
