We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to establish the overarching messaging and communications strategy for our portfolio of the St Killian Portfolio through media coverage, opinion leader engagement, and partner content amplification. This position will help create and implement all communication efforts for the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will increase brand awareness, develop consumer affinity and demand for the portfolio through local events, strategic programming, and digital media objectives. St. Killian Importing Co. is a division of the Sheehan Family Companies; network of 17 distributorships in 14 states: one of the largest distributor networks in America. OBJECTIVE: The role of the Social Media Marketing Specialist is to establish the overarching messaging and communications strategy for our portfolio of the St Killian Portfolio through media coverage, opinion leader engagement, and partner content amplification. This position will help create and implement all communication efforts for the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will increase brand awareness, develop consumer affinity and demand for the portfolio through local events, strategic programming, and digital media objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure PR & Communication outreach use the most efficient tactics to promote media coverage, opinion leader coverage and reach new consumers and influencers for the brands within our portfolio of spirit brands Develop and implement year around, "always on" internal & external communications strategy across supplier, business, trade, PR and social media Create 'breakthrough' buzzworthy PR moments and activations to enhance our message, bringing new perspectives and vision that tap into the brand's roots Create media plans for both ongoing and seasonal campaigns in partnership with suppliers Ensure the flawless execution of our organic social media editorial calendar and liaise with other key channels Build direct relationships with press, journalists, influencers, and other key media to ensure brand ownership Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations, revise PR communications and adapt as necessary for market needs Ensure all brand communication is strategically sound, consistent with brand guidelines and legally compliant Work with the Spirits Import Manager to optimize social content performance across platforms based on strategy Identifying meaningful & innovative ways to communicate brand heritage stories and deepen connection with key new and existing client targets Measure outcome using analytic tools and report results to all contributors Identify and launch new paid marketing channels to drive overall sales growth Ability to provide and communicate results to management ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Completed Bachelor's Degree Required 3+ years of PR / Communications experience marketing high profile brands or agency account management.
