Job Description

The purpose of the Social Media Manager role is to lead the social media strategy and execution for the brand, products and services to target customers. The role will have full day-to-day responsibility for our activity and engagement across all social media platforms.

Well known multi-product retailer with over 1,000 stores and two retail websites are looking for an experience Social Media Manager to join their growing Marketing team based in Yorkshire.

Description

A high profile role working in Customer Marketing and alongside great teams in commercial, creative and operations, the Social Media Manager will ensure we deliver consistent creative and messaging across all social touchpoints.

Devises and implements the social media strategy, inclusive of brand, products, services and channels to drive engagement across platforms.
Leads social strategy across the business and oversees understanding and adherence with the strategy.
Lead the creative/content development of all social campaigns (theme, messaging, identity) to deliver campaign impact to key customer personas.
Create and implement a consumer social media programme, building a cross-platform engagement plan, writing and distributing content.
Work with the customer services team to oversee our customer voice on social channels, including support with managing and responding to issues/complaints.
Ensure a joined-up approach across organic and paid social media and utilising tools to deliver this (this role will have responsibility for organic/owned and earned social, not paid social which is led and managed by the Digital Team).
Effectively work alongside several internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer communications are effectively implemented.
Operate as brand champion/custodian and manages all content and posting to social channels, including but not exclusive to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
Define KPIs for social activities and campaigns to evaluate and measure their impact.
Manage social agency ensuring they are delivering against agreed metrics.
Manage the social media budget.Positive business and brand sentiment on social mediaIncreasing number of followers on key social channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (exact metrics to be agreed)

5 to 8 years' experience in leading and managing social
A proven success growing social media accounts into established platforms.
Experience within a social media management role.
A retail background is desirable but not essential.
Creative, full of ideas and eye for detail.
Strong hands-on social media/platform experience.
Good judgement and confident decision-maker.
Strong communications skills; selling an idea, internally and externally. Job Offer
