Social Media Manager (New York)

The Social Media Manager is responsible for assisting in the development of our social media strategy and executing on the strategy with specific campaigns in all social media outlets. We are looking for high levels of creativity and fun in representing our brands both through posts and paid advertising.


Responsibilities / Duties

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content internally and with outside agency partners
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Develop and maintain content calendar
  • Respond to all comments everywhere with energy and gusto
  • Actively build engagement with our followers
  • Extend our profile by finding, following, and engaging with the right people
  • Pursue and organize contests, giveaways, and others social growth efforts
  • Work proactively to frame the social discussion
  • Find the right spaces online to insert ourselves into the conversation


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing or relevant field or in process of completing degree or diploma Ability to work unsupervised and be accountable for high levels of deliverables
  • Previous experience as a Social Media Manager/Specialist/Coordinator or Community Coordinator is desired
  • Previous experience with photography and videography is desired
  • Knowledge of Facebook advertising
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Willingness to be part of a fast-paced culture with a sense of accountability to the bottom line

Work Authorization

Travel

This position requires the ability to travel nationally and internationally, to multiple business units, as needed. Must have access to reliable transportation locally, as this position may require some time to be spent at the corporate office and at business units locally.


COVID-19 Precautions

This position will be based at the Corporate office, although there is flexibility to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Personal protective equipment is always required when at the office, as well as following social distancing guidelines, and health and safety measures of hand sanitizing and cleaning procedures.
