Social Media Manager


Up to £31k (depending on experience)

Are you an expert when it comes to Social Media? Do you enjoy taking ownership of social media strategies and campaigns?

We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent position based in a company where you will need to build and maintain key working relationships with many parts of the business. You will work as part of the Brand and Marketing team to develop, plan, implement, and be responsible for B2C and B2B social media strategies across all business functions.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Formulate and implement a strategy across all social channels
Planning and writing posts in line with wider content and campaign plans, both for B2C and B2B audiences depending on the platform
Creating and managing paid campaigns
Managing the analysis, testing, and reporting of campaign performance, to help improve results
Become the go-to for internal stakeholders to help build social media as an extension to existing marketing campaigns, providing insight, budget options and estimated return against objectives
Ensuring social media posts are delivered effectively on the right channels, to the right audience and at the right time, ensuring they're in line with organisational goals and business objectives
Ensuring consistency of messaging and brand tone of voice across social media
Seeking out opportunities to create new relationships with influencers, partners, and brands, working alongside the PR agency
Working with the creative team to oversee the design of social media accounts
Devising and executing competitions and wider viral campaigns on social media to increase reach, to respond to member queries and drive member growth and traffic to the site
Increasing followers and member engagements by generating, editing, publishing, and sharing regular content
Participating in creative ideas sessions for social media and marketing content

If you are creative, proactive, and constantly striving to improve and succeed then we would absolutely love to tell you more!! To be successful for this position, you would need to have extensive knowledge of managing social media platforms, as well as knowledge of the wider digital marketing areas. You must be able to demonstrate experience in planning and managing social campaigns, budgets, and reporting on results. Ideally you will have knowledge of targeting demographics to build audiences and using data analysis to build recommendations for future improvements.

You must be an assertive and decisive individual, who is good at motivating others to work effectively on projects. You must also be able to use your own initiative and take ownership and accountability for your own performance and development.
