A.D. Creative Group is an award-winning, full-service branding and marketing agency located in Billings, MT. This immediate opening is for an internet savvy and energetic team player to fill our Social Media Manager role. We are searching for a detail oriented and organized individual to assist in organizing campaigns, writing content, and developing marketing strategies. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, confidentiality, integrity, and a strong work ethic are a must! We are a fast-paced creative team looking for an organized, self-motivated individual who doesn't take life too seriously but can work hard and complete tasks independently.


Duties and responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of Social Media Managers can cover multiple disciplines. Their day-to-day tasks can include the following tasks:

  • Developing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Analyzing the long-term needs of the company's social media strategy and offering quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
  • Creating captivating content for an organization's social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts, and multimedia content
  • Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
  • Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
  • Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring, and showing (ROI)
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, and social media posts
  • Managing a social media team and guiding junior members
  • Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day management of clients/ campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
  • Work with brands to create and implement social media strategies monthly
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives


Skills and qualifications

A successful Social Media Managers needs a wide range of various prerequisite skills and qualifications that include sales, management, strategic thinking, teamwork, and creativity. Although this is not a comprehensive list, these professionals need the following skills:

  • Extensive experience in working with various social media platforms
  • Great communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders, creatives, and departments
  • Strong leadership to successfully manage a team
  • Good networking skills to form relationships with influencers and other key players
  • An ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of the English language
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Solid knowledge of computers and relevant operating systems and software programs
  • A sound understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics and keyword search
  • Facebook Ads Manager experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be well written and extremely well organized
  • Proficient in using Mac computers
  • Experience working with Word/Excel/Pages/PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat platforms
  • Marketing, Advertising, or Communication degree preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to work within a team and independently


Experience requirements

Proven experience in delivering successful social media campaigns, working with a range of social tools, conducting audience and buyer persona research, managing projects, and working closely with various departments and teams, and at least one to two years of experience working as a Social Media Executive or Assistant.
