Description: ***Please note this is part time position twenty (20) hours per week******Candidate must be based in San Diego***

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic part-time content marketing and social media coordinator to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for creating social media content and videos, and the day-to-day management of MeBe's social media properties. You will develop creative content, experiment and test new ideas, implement best practices, and measure the results of the social media campaigns.

Your energy and passion for social media as a communications tool will result in expanding MeBe's social media audience, increasing brand awareness, and generating demand for MeBe's services.

The successful candidate will be experienced in creating content for social media platforms, including video, social posts, and blog articles. You'll work with the Senior Marketing Manager and our team of subject matter experts to develop educational and promotional content, and be responsible for creating, editing, scheduling and publishing the content.

You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve MeBe's social media practices over time.

Content Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Senior Marketing Manager and clinical subject matter experts to develop social media campaigns that are consistent with the company's brand identity.
  • Planning and creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Filming and editing videos to publish on social media platforms using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Creating social media posts in graphic design software such as Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Writing, editing, scheduling and promoting social media posts using platforms such as Salesforce Social Studio and Facebook Business Suite.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance.
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Performing other duties when needed.

Content Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field, or current student pursuing their degree.
  • 2 or more years of social media experience including creating and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Experience using video editing software and graphic design software to create content.
  • Experience using various analytics software.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
