Full-service, pet-centric branding agency has an immediate opening for an experienced and creative Social Media & Influencer Coordinator. The person in this role must be a pro at enhancing brands and building engagement through various social media platforms. We are looking for someone that is passionate about the creator space and social media trends. The ideal candidate is comfortable with and active across social media platforms, is highly organized and able to multitask. Must be self-motivated, proactive and thrive in a team setting as well as independently. Pet ownership is a PLUS!


Responsibilities

Content Creation, Distribution, and Management

  • Working with the Social Media Manager and Associate and collaborating with other Marketing Team members in the creation and distribution of social content across a variety of social platforms and channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, blogs, and other emerging platforms.
  • Assist with creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving engagement, and promoting social media campaigns, both paid and unpaid.
  • Publishing and scheduling content across all social platforms.
  • Managing community engagement, communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in building monthly analytics for social media reports, including the best performing content.
  • Creating a community that includes influencers, customers, industry professionals and brand partners.
  • Researching and implementing best practices for social content across platforms.
  • Growing our social following and driving engagement across all social channels.
  • Creating exciting social partnership opportunities to grow brand relevance.
  • Research and maintain information on the latest trends and current events in social media/tech.
  • Monitoring competitor content and initiatives on social.
  • Continue to develop influencer outreach programs and partnerships through outreach and coordination for paid and unpaid influencers.
  • Coordination with influencers to develop relevant client content and to ensure posts are made in a timely manner.
  • Performing other duties when needed.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar relevant field

Proficient with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.

Strong writing and grammar skills.

Quick learner who is able to adapt and excel in various environments.

Self-starter, self-motivated, positive and reliable

Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of efficiency and effectiveness

Ability to handle deadlines

Familiar with Google Drive and cloud-based storage systems a plus

Position will be in our Chicago, IL office. No remote candidates will be considered. ***Applicants must live in Chicagoland area.***
