The Social Media Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing team. At your core you're a social media native with a keen sense of what engages, inspires, and is useful to an audience.   • Social Media Content Calendar Management
  • Managing, developing and executing the social media content calendar across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram/Instagram Stories, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Blog) and brands (Baldor Specialty Foods, Urban Roots, Pierless Fish)
  • Develop effective social campaigns for Baldor initiatives
  • Plan the social monthly needs in the Social Media Content calendar and planner
  • Content & Asset Creation
  • Maintain visual and conceptual brand consistency across multi-channel brand strategy for collections and brand initiatives and apply to all social/digital platforms
  • Bring innovative ideas from conceptualization to social media platforms for digital and social campaigns
  • Partner with creative, merchandising, sales, procurement, marketing, and events leads to create social-first content.
  • Manage the production process for all social media creative assets, including requesting assets, crafting creative briefs and video scripts, and collaborating with the Creative Manager on larger-scale video and image shoots
  • Create additional social photos & video using smartphone and in-app (e.g. Instagram, TikTok) camera and editing tools
  • Partnering with copywriters to create compelling content and writing copy as needed
  • Paid Media & Influencer Strategy
  • Manage paid social initiatives from conception through execution phases in partnership with Digital Marketing Agency
  • Develop and build out influencer programming and strong community engagement in partnership with PR Agency
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and report on relevant KPIs Monitor competitor and industry updates within the social landscape, and sharing with relevant team members
  • Feeding learnings back to the wider team and implementing them to optimize visuals and copy
  • Community Management & Trend Monitoring
  • Daily monitoring and response to follower and customer comments and DM's in close partnership with the Sales and Merchandising teams.
  • Encourage a dedicated and engaged brand community through comments and DMs
  • Testing new, emerging features and trends on social media platforms
  • Monitor competitive social landscape, market changes and developments; remain current on emerging industry and digital trends; provide highly strategic recommendations
  • Use secondary research methods to gain a deep understanding of the culture, sub-cultures, and consumer behaviors that are the driving forces behind both large and small trends or cultural moments


· Reports to: Marketing Manager - Branding and Content


  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • High-level and intuitive understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
  • Established social media background including driving strategy for an innovative brand
  • Strong collaborative and leadership skills for both internal and external business partners
  • Experience using digital media to build community as a primary objective
  • Strategic thinker with creative problem solving and impeccable, persuasive writing skills
  • Strong command of web and social analytics and reporting
  • Strong digital writing, grammar & spelling skills
  • Extremely organized and possess a close attention to detail
  • Experience with social media management and reporting tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Later, Iconosquare)
  • Experience in other forms of marketing a plus
