Job Title: PR & Communications Manager
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (Hybrid working)
Our established client based in the heart of Welwyn Garden City are seeking the right individual to join as their Press Officer on a 12-month contract.
The key focus of the role is to raise awareness and boost the company's profile, while protecting the reputation of the brand and its services.
You will be involved in the public affairs campaigning, engagement with journalists and drive enquiries and manage requests from the press to generate quality coverage.
Experience working in PR or journalism
Experience of writing content including blogs and press releases
Knowledge of driving engagement via digital marketing
Strong understanding of social media and online community management
Design skills using Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva
Knowledge and experience working in PR
Lead the press and media creation and coverage
Write and produce press releases and required
Work with PR agency on campaigns and activity as required
Tailor press material
Develop and execute ideas and opportunities to extent content
Responding to inbound enquires from the media
Monitor news alerts and key coverage
Write, edit and post blogs from colleagues and members
Support with images and graphics for press material
Work with internal stakeholders within the business
