You will maximise positive publicity to keep elevating the brand and to create a greater impact. The role will be for 21 hours a week. You decide how you work those hours. You can work three days or a few hours a day. My client is happy to work any combination that amounts to 21 hours and works for you. The role is hybrid too. The role includes:
Media and Public Relations
Proactive Media Outreach: Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across various media channels.
PR Agency Collaboration: Work in sync with the PR agency to seize both planned and responsive media exposure opportunities.
Strategic Communication Planning
Target Audience Research: Investigate and segment key national and international audiences for targeted communications.
Content Calendar Creation: Develop a content calendar aligning with the Institutes marketing and communications strategy.
Content Development
Content Production: Oversee the development of engaging and meaningful content like blog posts, videos, and infographics.
Editorial Oversight: Ensure all content is accurate, compelling, and aligns with our brand voice and messaging goals.
Internal Communication
Alignment:Regularly update staff and internal stakeholders on our PR and Communication objectives and outcomes.
Team Collaboration:Foster an environment of open communication within the Marketing, Brand, Communications, and Events department.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Minimum 3 Years in PR and Corporate Communications
Relevant Professional Qualifications
Experience in Higher Education Sector
Proficiency in Zoom, Teams, and Google Hangouts
Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
