We have an exciting and incredible opportunity available for a PR Account Executive in Leatherhead. If you are passionate about building a career in PR and Marketing this is for you.

Key Responsibilities for a PR Account Executive:

  • Responsible for technical press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
  • Leading press releases pitches and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online publications, to engage them in covering clients' stories
  • Do research and discover forward feature and other media chances for clients
  • Completely handle the process of press release distribution for accounts, including list-building using the agency's database system
  • Design, construct and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, journalists and industry contacts
  • Answer to phone calls and emails from journalists and clients
  • Organise interviews and meetings with key journalists
  • Schedule and create events with account teams within relevant time, production and financial constraints
  • Join client events and industry conferences, often overseas
  • Manage clients' social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn channels
  • Manage and work with the team on client advertising campaigns
  • Contribute to client meetings and maintain workload tracking documents
  • Manage production of marketing collateral

Key Requirements:

  • 6 month's - 1 year's PR/Marketing experience, preferably from within a PR Agency
  • Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communication and Media
  • French, Italian, Spanish, German Desirable but not vital
  • Outstanding written and spoken English including excellent grammar
  • Creative flair for producing engaging and technical copy
  • Good IT Skills: Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media channels
  • Excellent organisation skills
