OPERATIONS MANAGER

MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE

UP TO £35,000 + BENEFITS

As part of our roadmap for growth, we're now looking to enhance our support team by hiring an experienced Operations Manager who will work closely with the Managing Director and will take responsibility for the smooth running of the business.

THE OPERATIONS MANAGER:

  • Providing administration Support to the Managing Director, Sales Manager & Marketing Manager
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager to assist with activity report creation, quality audits, advert approvals and credit allocation
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager to assist with the scheduling and management of email marketing & social media campaigns
  • Management of the central marketing inbox and distributing enquiries to the sales team
  • Providing support to the Managing Director to assist with invoicing, adding supplier invoices, processing payments, bank reconciliation, basic payroll and VAT Returns
  • General HR Administration support; Updating HR Software, preparing offer letters & contract
  • Management of annual general Health, Safety, DSE and Fire Risk Assessments, and the monthly routine checks
  • Liaising with the external cleaner to ensure the office is kept to a high standard
  • Ordering supplies such as stationery, soft drinks & kitchen supplies as required
  • Organising monthly social and team building events
  • Answering the phone, taking messages & meeting visitors
  • Reviewing and implementing processes and procedures
  • Management of continuous improvement projects to create efficiency's
  • Management of the ATS/CRM including GDPR requests, Data Extraction and Data Moves
  • Liaising with external IT, Software & Telecoms Suppliers to report faults and proactively follow up to ensure a swift resolution. Setting up new laptops, phones and creating login's for new starters

THE PERSON:

  • You'll need to be experienced at Office Manager or Operations Manager level, and have current experience of doing a similar role within a recruitment agency environment
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience of managing small business improvement projects
  • Any experience around Finance would be a significant advantage
  • Confident around recruitment ATS/CRM technology, ideally with experience of Bullhorn
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high-level accuracy & confidentiality
