Women for Women International (WfWI) is an international NGO that helps women survivors of war to rebuild their lives. We believe that with access to rights, education and resources, women can lead change towards peaceful and stable societies. Since establishment in 1993, WfWI has worked with over 500,000 women in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Sudan. The UK office was established in 2006, and has steadily grown its programme funding from grants from various sources, including governments, trusts and foundations, companies, and individuals.

What we offer you
Your work life balance is important to us, and we work 70 hours over 9 working days and have every other Friday off.
We offer 25 days annual leave increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 30 days, plus bank holidays.
It is essential to save for your retirement. Everyone is eligible to join our group pension plan up to a maximum employer contribution of 7%
We work on a hybrid basis, you will be set up to work from home and have the option to work from our office in Borough whenever you want. We enjoy being back in the office a day or two a week to meet colleagues face to face.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small and dedicated Marketing and Communications Team.

As a Marketing and Communications Officer you will create powerful content for Women for Women International's digital channels, including social media, website and email marketing.
Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Primarily remote working with some expectation of work from the office based in Borough, London
Working Pattern: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary Level: £29,645 per annum

This role contributes to the delivery of the key objectives of the Marketing and Communications team:
To increase awareness of Women for Women International (the number of people who 'see' and 'think' about our work)
To increase the number of opted-in email subscribers
To convert supporters from people who 'do' (follow us on social media, sign up to the mailing list) to people who 'care' (fundraise, donate, take an action, share and create user-generated content)
Support the Digital Marketing Manager to create website content, including copy-writing, page editing and design, managing the sign-off process for webpage content.
Support on maintaining a strong and productive relationship with web development agency to ensure website content and functionality is maximised.
Support with website analytics and monthly reporting.
Social Media Management and Digital Content Creation
Support the execution of an integrated strategy of our social media channels to include content planning and creation, posting and analysis.
Staying on top of trends and learning from analytics to create compelling and engaging content that meets agreed KPIs.
Produce high-quality multimedia content including photo and video editing, and creating compelling graphics.
Support on digital ads delivery.
Support on managing relationships with digital agencies.
Support the delivery of the Marketing and Communications team email marketing programme to meet agreed open and click through rate KPIs.
Build, design and send acquisition and retention emails using the email distribution system (Marketing Cloud).
Review and analyse email marketing results, report and evaluate overall and specific campaign success.
Support any member of the team with administrative work as needed.
Coordinate team meetings, book rooms, create and circulate agendas and minutes.
Manage and catalogue digital assets (photos, case studies and videos) and upload to digital asset management system.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the post as required by your line manager.
