Job Description

My client, a thriving business consultancy, is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and communications Strategy for the group.

  • Lead on the development and implementation of "The Group" communications strategy in their
  • relevant industries.
  • Through discussion produce an annual marketing planner for each of the companies in advance of the start of the financial year
  • Develop and execute the organisations media strategy across all media, including press, broadcast and publications to raise Showcase s/Group profile and market Showcase's activities, using all relevant mediums both in publications and digital media.
  • Design and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Ensure all outgoing comms including & especially all tender responses are consistent with the appropriate
  • brand guidelines.
  • Create and manage all communications both internally & externally with any newsletters.
  • Responsible for the development and management of all the websites across group, including keeping content
  • up to date and appropriate, making improvements to functionality and advising colleagues on maximising its
  • potential.
  • Continue the management of our external SEO & Social Media agency which includes PPC campaigns, ensuring
  • trackers are maintained and regular updates are provided to relevant Sales Managers.
  • Attend regular monthly marketing update meetings where required with head of divisions, ensuring any
  • marketing activity needed is noted, minutes taken and actions are set.
  • Attend networking events to communicate brand and support sales activity when required.
  • Attend internal Sales meetings within Group when required.
  • Manage content all social media sites for group including; linked in, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and integrate
  • across the business. This will include growing our suitable follower database and posting interesting and
  • engaging content regularly.
  • Manage any sales leads that you may obtain through networking and communication by passing onto the
  • relevant Sales Manager.
  • Organising the companies trade shows where exhibiting.
  • Assisting with the organising of client entertainment, company days and annual staff events.
  • Analysing competitor trends relevant to the business including advising on strategy around industry events
  • Manage internal and external events calendars including dates of interest, to manage our own events effectively.
  • Lead on development and monitoring of brand guidelines and key messages.
  • Research and write copy for external articles, case studies and public relations.
  • Collation of information and feedback on Showcase s projects and activities.
  • Co-ordinate photoshoots and assist on site with the photography required for case studies, websites and Group
  • collateral. Co-ordinate the information required for all case studies.
  • Design and create e-shots for the sales teams, CRM mail shots & any company literature for Group.
  • Set (with the Sales Directors), monitor and forecast accurately the marketing & communications budget for
  • each division.
  • Responsible for the development and management of Marketing Junior personnel.
  • Manage any external resource costs in line with the relevant divisions budget.
  • As part of the office team, assist with general administrative duties including answering incoming phone calls,
  • hosting visitors, supporting sales team Budget.
