Creative services manager- SME Creative & Branding agency

Job Description

This agency is a lovely SME, owner managed independent who are looking for a CSM to be the lynchpin of the agency and makes sure resource runs smoothly and efficiently.

They create impactful and unique work across a diverse range of clients, transforming brands and developing content to connect with audiences worldwide.

This CSM role will be key in supporting the growth of the agency as they take on more clients and projects.

  • Hybrid flexible working (Central London)
  • Option to go freelance to permanent
  • £55k-£65k +bonus

The role:

  • Responsible for driving small multi-disciplinary teams to deliver content and brand projects on time and on budget
  • Work closely with account management and plan internal resource as well as organising and sourcing freelance resource when needed throughout the whole project life cycle
  • Forward plan all resource and workload and run team meetings on a daily basis
  • Take ownership of the internal resource system & software
  • Set up projects on the project management tool and allocate time on the scoping of work
  • Closely monitor time spent on projects to minimise over servicing clients or going over budget
  • Pro-actively chase everyone for timesheets
  • Manage estimates, purchasing and invoicing approvals for third party costs where necessary
  • Manage final wash up meetings to establish project profitability and inform process changes for future projects
  • Keep a 'black book' and talent pool of freelance talent (which includes designers, art directors, strategists, writers, account management etc)
  • Be vocal about ideas to improve process and delivery

The person:

  • Must be from an agency background (any size)
  • Ideally experience managing integrated teams on multi-channel projects
  • Naturally organised and problem solver
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously and make key decisions on your own
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Commercially savvy, keeping on top of budgets and utilisation reporting
  • Ambitious and driven
  • A sense of humour!
