Job Description

Creative Planner - Specialist Fundraising Agency - Central London / Hybrid - To £52k

A world leader in DRTV and digital fundraising, this mid-sized purpose-led agency is looking for a Creative Planner to join its friendly, supportive team.

This is a rare opportunity to work across a range of high-profile not-for-profit clients on digitally led integrated campaigns - both ATL (including TV) and BTL.

Enjoy flexible working hours, a lot of fun, generous holidays and long-weekenders (one Friday off work each month).

The agency

This 50-strong independent agency inspires people to support good causes through direct response television, digital video and film.

These exceptional, forward-thinking 'direct-marketing fundraisers' work with 30+ NGOs and iNGOs - the large and not so large - in more than 25 countries, covering a wide range of issues from humanitarian and conservation causes to health and the environment.

The role

The agency is looking for a Midweight Planner to provide insight and inspiration for the creation of purpose-driven campaigns.

You will be supporting senior planners, strategists and creatives on major international accounts, and lead the work on your own clients too.

Reporting to the agency's Senior Planner, you will identify and develop audience insights which underpin creative ideas and campaigns. It will include audience and market research, competitor reviews, insight hunting, creative brief writing and internal communications support.

You should have around 3-4 years' agency experience in a planning / strategy role. Knowledge of direct marketing and the not-for-profit sector and fundraising would be ideal but not essential - more important is a curiosity about audiences and what makes them tick.

The agency really wants you to thrive; there is plenty of room for professional growth and no glass ceiling.

More experienced Planners will also be considered.

  • Culturally curious and creative, you will thrive on briefing and brainstorming with creative teams - bringing structure, clarity and spark to creative sessions
  • Proven experience developing strategic narratives and client presentations, writing and presenting creative briefs
  • Previous experience managing and / or guiding client thinking - a logical, confident 'voice' to clients and internal stakeholders alike
  • Research skills and a strategic mind - an excellent desk researcher, able to engage with industry reports and research
  • Comfortable with data, you will be interested in cultural trends and changing customer behaviours
  • Strategic thinker - able to work backwards from the audience, and with a track record of contributing to effective creative work

Work from home policy

The agency always puts its people's mental and physical health first. They are currently trialling six days in the office per month - or more if you wish.

Salary and benefits

£45k - £52k depending on experience. You'll also enjoy flexible working hours, a fabulous company culture, dog-friendly offices, generous holidays including the much-loved long weekends (one Friday off per month) and a great work / life balance.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Whilst every effort is made to contact all candidates, due to a high number of applications we are unable to give individual feedback to those who are unsuccessful.
