Job Description

Career Teachers are working with a mainstream primary school in the L4 area of Liverpool who are looking to recruit an experienced full time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in and out the classroom. The position will require you to support a child in Y6 working under the direction of the class teacher. The pupil has a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD so a firm understanding of the child's needs is essential. To be successful in this role you must: Have a calm, positive approach Be firm and consistent Report daily to the class teacher and sometimes parent Have encouraging behaviour techniques Be able to commit to full time, Monday to FridayThe hours of the role are 8.30am-3.30pm. The daily rate is competitive and dependent on experience. In this role, you will be expected to provide support, both in and out of class, and the position is one to one support for a child with additional and multiple learning needs.
