We are looking for experienced and dedicated Nurses to work with our numerous Care Homes in Crawley, Three Bridges, Horley, Brighten, Horsham and London etc

Hours: Mondays to Fridays (Days and Nights Shifts) & Weekends (Days and Nights Shifts).

Salary: From £11.00 to £12.00 p/h

About the role

You will be supporting the clients in their respective homes over range of health conditions and needs throughout Monday to Friday (Days/Nights), and/or Weekends (Days/Nights) in various locations.

Main day-to-day duties include:

  • To provide support that respects their dignity and choice
  • Promote and assist them to maintain independent living
  • To carry out all care tasks in line with service users' need
  • To follow the care plan carefully and deliver safe care
  • Administer medication
  • Assist with personal care, i.e. washing, bathing, dressing and toileting
  • Assist with moving and handling
  • Help maintain nutritional needs
  • To read care plans at the client's homes and complete log sheets fully and correctly
  • To always conduct yourself professionally
  • To comply with the national minimum care standards and requirements as described in the company handbook
  • To ensure that confidentiality, respect, dignity, privacy, and independence of the residents is paramount, in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. always Maintaining professional boundaries.

Skills you should possess include:

  • Passionate about care and willingness to develop your skills further
  • Experience with Medication (NVQ level 2 or 3), Suctioning, PEG feeding is desirable, however full training will be provided
  • Experience with Tracheostomy is essential
  • Friendly and supportive toward vulnerable children
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to build relationships with the residents and those around them
  • Patient and calm under pressure
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a care setting
